The DL-TBRG precipitation sensor from Decentlab generates a pulse as soon as 0.1mm of water is registered. Furthermore, it transmits at regular intervals the number of pulses (i.e. quantity x 0.1mm) during the last interval, the duration of the interval and the total number of pulses (of precipitation) since the last reset. In this way, reliable statements can be made about the amount of rainwater, even over long periods of time.
