The WSS-04 rain and snow detection sensor from Dragino monitors rain and snow events. After connecting the WSS-04 to the Dragino weather station solution WSC1-L via RS485 interface, the environmental data can be transmitted via LoRaWAN. To ensure reliable measurement, the WSS-04 is equipped with automatic surface heating. Furthermore, the grid electrode is made of electroless nickel/immersion gold for reliable corrosion resistance.
This rain and snow detection sensor is the right accessory for the Dragino weather station solution Main process unit (WSC1-L) must also be used, otherwise the functionality cannot be established.
