DL-OPTOD from Decentlab is a sensor for optical measuring of dissolved oxygen, based on the principle of Fluorescence Quenching. Dissolved oxygen in water bodies is indispensable for fauna and aquatic life. The sensor can be used, for example, to monitor microbiological decomposition and algae growth in water bodies. The temperature is also monitored, since at a higher temperature, the concentration of dissolved oxygen decreases.
The sensor is used, for example, in fish farming, aquariums or in municipal monitoring of water bodies and seawater.
