The Dutch DSS Microphone Extension Mount for the DSS Ranos dB allows the MMDB1 and MMDB2 microphones to be mounted on an extended arm from the mast to minimize reflections and diffraction effects from the housing or mast. A microphone extension cable is required for use. Mounting is done by attaching the bracket to the arm, clamping the microphone in the clamp and fixing it to the pole so that the microphone is pointing upwards and is stable.
