The Ultrasonic distance sensor is housed in an IP67 housing and is therefore ideal for mounting outdoors or in extreme conditions. Use the distance sensor to measure the water level under a bridge, the level of waste in a container and much more. You can also use this device to measure ambient temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure and acceleration.
Battery life is estimated at up to 10 years, but depends on sampling interval, transmission interval, data rate and environmental factors. It is powered by a 3.6 V AA lithium battery.
