The Lansitec Indoor LoRaWAN Gateway is a wall-mounted LoRaWAN gateway designed to connect indoor IoT sensors.

The gateway is configured via a 2.4-GHz Wi-Fi access point mode using a web interface, so no additional configuration software is required. Key technical features at a glance:

  • Backhaul flexibility: Supports Ethernet with PoE (IEEE 802.3af), Wi-Fi, or optional LTE Cat 4 as uplink options, allowing the gateway to be used even in locations where wired broadband is unavailable or impractical.
  • Integrated network server: Manages connected LoRaWAN devices directly on the gateway, eliminating the need for a separate server in smaller installations.
  • Failover Protection: A TF card logs and buffers LoRa frames during backhaul interruptions, ensuring that no data is lost if the uplink is temporarily unavailable.

The gateway runs on OpenWRT firmware and is based on the Semtech SX1302 chipset with 8 channels, which supports LoRaWAN V1.0.3. It has CE, FCC, and RCM certifications. A typical application is asset tracking in large indoor facilities such as hospitals or campus grounds, where the infrastructure costs required to commission an installation are reduced.
