The R718PE from Netvox is a wireless communication device that uses ultrasonic waves to measure distance. The propagation medium of the R718PE ultrasonic sensor is air, so the object to be measured can be any liquid or solid with a uniform surface. The device can be used to measure liquid and material levels. The detection angle of the R718PE is approximately 15°, which makes it suitable for distance measurements in small spaces. The main unit and the ultrasonic sensor communicate via the UART interface and transmit the acquired data to other devices via the wireless network for display. It uses a wireless communication method that complies with the LoRa protocol standard.
