The Supercal 5 S is the next generation of combined thermal energy meters from Sontex and succeeds the well-known Superstatic 440. It combines the proven technology of the Superstatic 440 with the new Sontex calculator. This new series of the calculator is characterised by state-of-the-art multifunctional technologies, is based on a user-friendly modular concept and fully meets customer-specific requirements such as simplified system integration, tariff and data logging functions, universal data transmission and connection to control systems. As the design of the Supercal 5 S aims at a high degree of flexibility while taking future standards into account, it is ideally suited as a heat or cold meter as well as a combined heat/cold meter. The additional pulse inputs allow for the connection of hot or cold water, gas, oil and electricity meters. Thanks to its extensive data communication options and its flexibility in recording and logging dynamic system data, the Supercal 5 is also suitable for use in district heating networks and industrial plants.
The calculator is available as a heat meter, cooling meter or combined heat/cooling meter and can be extended with communication modules such as M-Bus, wireless M-Bus or LoRaWAN. Please refer to the data sheet for the available variants and pulse input options.
