The Tekelek TEK 790 is a battery powered LoRaWAN sensor for monitoring LPG liquid gas tanks. Built in a rugged and IP68 protected housing, the device is certified according to ATEX directive 2014/34/EU for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The LPG gas tank is measured in the range of 5% to 95% with an accuracy of about 4%. Wireless transmission of data to a LoRaWAN gateway are triggered either at regular intervals and/or when the level falls below a specified threshold. In addition, the temperature and battery level are transmitted. The battery life is up to 15 years under ideal conditions. The configuration is done via a smartphone app with NFC interface.
