The TEKTELIC Kona Micro Gen2T is a compact indoor LoRaWAN gateway designed for mission-critical IoT applications requiring continuous availability. Thanks to an integrated backup battery, data transmission continues for up to four hours even during a power outage, while power is supplied during normal operation via either Power over Ethernet or an external power supply—ideal for locations without a separate power outlet near the network. The gateway supports EU868 with high transmit power and time-duplex operation for maximum channel utilization; it can be deployed via plug-and-play with a factory-configured image and centrally managed using the KonaFT tool. This makes it particularly well-suited for building and facility monitoring with high availability requirements.
