The ACR-CV-102NI-W-D2 connects existing wM-Bus meters to the backend via NB-IoT—without requiring meter replacement and is therefore EED-compliant. It supports the widest range of protocols on the market: wM-Bus, wM-Bus OMS, Apator Metra, Radian (Sontex/Itron), and Sensus BUP. Depending on the building, the external wM-Bus antenna typically covers 4–5 floors (approx. 40 m); data transmission occurs via NB-IoT (B3/B8/B20). Two D-cell batteries with a capacity of 38,000 mAh provide over ten years of battery life with daily meter readings. The IP67-rated housing is suitable for outdoor use; configuration and firmware updates are performed via cable or remotely via NB-IoT (FUOTA).
