The Apator APRANGE is a LoRaWAN relay compliant with the TS011-1.0.0 specification that extends network coverage to hard-to-reach locations—without the need for an additional gateway. Setup is performed using a reed switch with audible feedback, and commissioning via OTAA takes just a few simple steps. Up to 15 end devices can be connected per relay; server operation has been tested with ChirpStack (version 4.4.0 and later), and integration with Apator’s Ultrimis water meters has been specifically optimized. The IP68-rated housing (both inside and out) and the temperature range of –20 °C to +70 °C allow for continuous use indoors and outdoors; the replaceable D-cell battery (3.6 V, 17 or 34 Ah) provides up to 10 years of battery life. Flexible mounting via a 4-screw bracket—on a wall, pole, or in any orientation.
