The SENSO8 SEN10701 is a battery-powered NB-IoT sensor for indoor air monitoring, available with either temperature, humidity, and CO2 (C000) or, additionally, with particulate matter (PM1.0/2.5/10) and TVOC (CPV0). Two C-cell batteries (ER26500, lithium) power the sensor with a measurement interval of 15 minutes; data is transmitted every 60 minutes, including the last four measured values. A colored LED bar displays the Air Quality Index (AQI) directly on the device; the measurement interval and alarm thresholds are freely configurable, and critical values are additionally reported to the server as a message. Data is transmitted via LTE Cat NB1 (NB-IoT, bands B1/B3/B5/B8/B20) using an integrated antenna. Suitable for offices, schools, and retail locations without a power connection at the installation site.

The webshop offers two primary variants: the ARW-SEN10701-C000-0001 monitors temperature, humidity, and CO2, while the ARW-SEN10701-CPV0-0001 provides more comprehensive monitoring including temperature, humidity, CO2, particulate matter (PM1.0, PM2.5, PM10), and TVOC. Additional specialized configurations are available within the product family to meet specific monitoring requirements.
The sensor supports dual power options: it can run on two 3.6V C-size ER26500 lithium batteries or be connected to a power supply using an 8.5-15V DC power adaptor.
For sensor models without particulate matter (PM2.5) detection, the battery can last up to 3 years when using a 60-minute heartbeat interval and with the LED indicator turned off. Battery life for variants with active PM sensors or different reporting intervals will vary.
The intervals depend on the power source. On battery power, it measures every 15 minutes and uploads every 60 minutes. When connected to DC power, it measures every 5 minutes and uploads data every 15 minutes.
