The Dragino NDS03A is a NB-IoT door sensor that detects the opening and closing status of a door and is connected to the IoT server via the NB-IoT network. It enables the connection of two door sensors, allowing the user to view the door status, opening duration and number of openings on the IoT server.
The NDS03A sends data periodically every 4 hours and at each door opening or closing action. In addition, it counts the door opening times and calculates the duration of the last door opening. The user has the option to disable the uplink for each opening or closing event and instead the NDS03A can count the events and send them periodically as an uplink. With the Datalog function, all opening and closing events are recorded so that the user can retrieve the history via NB-IoT.
The NDS03A has an opening alarm function that allows the user to set the device to send an alarm when the door has been open for a certain amount of time. Designed for outdoor use, the device has a weatherproof housing and an industrial-grade battery suitable for use in low to high temperatures.
