The Dragino WSS-08 rain gauge is a high-precision optical sensor for measuring precipitation quantities in real time. With its robust design, it reliably records rainfall intensities of up to 24 mm/min and outputs the data via a pulse output (0.1 mm per pulse). Thanks to its wide temperature range of -40 °C to +60 °C and high resistance to environmental influences, the WSS-08 is ideal for agriculture, weather stations, environmental monitoring and smart farming. In combination with the Dragino WSC2 weather stations, the measured values can be transmitted wirelessly via LoRaWAN, NB-IoT or LTE-M and used for precise climate monitoring and sustainable irrigation strategies.
