The WSS-27 sensor measures the photosynthetically active radiation of natural light in the wavelength range of 400-700 nm. It uses precise optical detectors with an optical filter and generates a voltage signal that is proportional to the intensity of the incoming radiation. The measurement results are very accurate, with a resolution of 1 μmol/m²-s and an accuracy of ±2 %. The sensor is ideal for use in meteorological applications for monitoring the light conditions that influence plant growth. The simple RS485 interface and low power consumption make the WSS-27 a cost-effective choice for agricultural technology professionals.
