The Digital Matter BARRA GPS is a compact, battery-powered GPS tracker for LTE-M and NB-IoT networks. It is ideal for locating and monitoring mobile or stationary assets such as containers, machines or vehicles. The robust housing (IP68/IK07) protects against dust, water and shocks. Two AA batteries provide a battery life of up to 8 years, depending on use. The device uses GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou) for precise positioning and offers additional functions such as motion detection, geofencing and tamper protection. Configuration and management are carried out via a cloud-based platform. Ideal for long-term use without a power supply.

The BARRA GPS tracker is designed for asset tracking, theft recovery, run hour monitoring, impact detection, tamper detection, and geofencing.
The BARRA GPS uses 2x AA batteries (Alkaline, Lithium LiFeS2 recommended). It provides 'Battery Low' and 'Battery Critical' alerts.
The BARRA GPS utilizes adaptive tracking, meaning it tracks when moving and sleeps when stationary to conserve energy.
The BARRA GPS can be activated using its magnetic switch.
The magnetic switch provides an alert if the device is removed, indicating a tamper event.
The BARRA GPS supports concurrent GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS constellations.
The horizontal location accuracy of the BARRA GPS is approximately 1.5 meters CEP (Circular Error Probable).
