This thermostat is designed for remote room temperature control, time-controlled temperature regulation, adaptation to user needs, and maintaining an accurate and constant target temperature. It also supports individual temperature profiles via downlinks and offers up to ten time switch points per day.

What kind of power supply does the thermostat use, and what is the battery life?

It uses 2x 1.5V LR6 / Mignon / AA batteries. The typical battery life is up to 4 years, but this can vary depending on usage.

The dimensions are approximately 53x53x94 mm (WxHxD), and it weighs 179g including batteries.

Which radiator valves are compatible with the thermostat?

It is compatible with valves that have M30 x 1.5 mm connection threads, including Heimeier, MNG, Junkers, Landis&Gyr, Honeywell-Braukmann, Oventrop, Schlösser, Comap, Valf Sanayii, Mertik Maxitrol, and Watts. It also supports adapters for Danfoss RA, RAV, and RAVL valves.

What operating modes are available?

The device features several operating modes, including manual temperature mode, manual positioning mode, automatic mode, holiday mode, window-open mode, boost mode, frost protection mode, and emergency mode.

How does the thermostat handle open window detection?

It can detect open windows internally based on a temperature drop or externally using sensors.

What happens when the battery is low?

When the battery voltage drops below 2.2V, the device enters emergency mode and drives the valve to an emergency position. A battery warning is issued below 2.25V, and LoRaWAN communication stops below 2V.

How does the thermostat adapt to different room conditions?

It uses an adaptive PI controller that automatically adjusts to the room and environmental conditions. This adaptation process can be disabled if needed. It also has temperature offset to correct heat accumulation or cold spots. The device also offers hydraulic balancing.

How often does the valve perform a cleaning cycle?

The valve performs an automatic descaling cycle once a month. This can also be started manually.

Can the thermostat settings be reset?

Yes, it can be reset to factory settings via a LoRaWAN command or directly on the device using the system button. A software reset via LoRaWAN command is also possible, which retains the parameters.
