The Dragino RS485W-B2 connects RS485 Modbus or UART sensors to LoRaWAN (RS485W-LB2) or NB-IoT/LTE-M (RS485W-CB2) and periodically uploads sensor data to an IoT platform. Compared to the standard RS485-LB/-CB model, the W variant also features a 12V output, designed for sensors with higher voltage requirements, such as water quality probes. The “2” denotes the 19,000 mAh Li-SOCI2 battery instead of the standard 8,500 mAh cell, resulting in significantly longer runtime during continuous operation.
