The DZG ETHMOD is a transparent modem for top-hat rail mounting that forwards meter data from an RS485 interface to an Ethernet (LAN) interface. It is suitable for basic meters, DIN rail meters and all meters with RS485. The module supports an RS485 data rate of 300 to 921,600 bps and has an RJ45 Ethernet interface for network integration. With an operating temperature range of -25 °C to +55 °C and a compact 2 HP design (IP51), it is ideal for industrial and building automation. LED status indicators show the operating status of the supply voltage, WAN and RS485 interface.
