The ELSYS ELT-MOD-DUALPT1000 is an expansion module for connecting one or two PT1000 platinum resistance thermometers to the ELSYS ELT LoRa device. The module fits into the housing and is connected via a terminal block using a 2-wire connection. Key technical features at a glance:
- Support for two sensors: Each channel is read independently using separate data types.
- Wide measurement range: covers -200 to 400 degrees Celsius, with an accuracy of plus or minus 0.1 degrees Celsius between -40 and 200 degrees Celsius, plus sensor deviation.
- Integrated Power Supply: Power is supplied by the internal battery, so no separate power source is required.
The module is designed for very low power consumption, which helps extend battery life. To configure the module, set the external sensor type to “Dual PT1000”; the temperature values will then be available via the standard data types “External Temperature” and “External Temperature 2.” A typical application is monitoring two independent temperature points, such as the supply and return lines in a heating system, with both measured values transmitted via LoRaWAN without requiring any additional hardware or cabling beyond the sensors themselves.

The module is designed to fit inside an ELT LoRa device to facilitate the connection of one or two PT1000 platinum sensors for temperature measurement.
The module is compatible with PT-1000 RTD platinum sensors and uses a 2-wire connection type via an integrated terminal block for easy installation.
The device supports a wide measurement range from -200 to 400 °C.
The module is designed for internal installation and fits directly inside the ELT LoRa box.
The module is powered by the internal battery of the ELT LoRa device and is engineered for very low energy consumption.
The module provides an accuracy of ± 0.1 °C for temperatures between -40 and 200°C and ± 0.5 °C across the full span, plus any deviation from the connected sensor.
The module reports External Temperature (0x0C) for the first channel and External Temperature 2 (0x19) for the second channel.
