The Elvaco CMe2100 LTE G2 is a compact M-Bus metering gateway for cellular networks that reads up to 256 meters and automatically transmits the measurement data to a receiving system. With support for 2G/3G/LTE and automatic network fallback, it is suitable for reliable, continuous operation in the remote reading of heat, water, and electricity meters.
The G2 variant is RED-compliant: It meets the current requirements of the Radio Equipment Directive by encrypting SMS commands when they are sent and received. Each device comes with a QR code that can be used to activate the gateway in the Elvaco Play Cloud free of charge. Once activated, SMS control works as usual via the Elvaco Play app—encryption and decryption occur automatically in the background via the Play platform.
Configuration and device management are handled via the Elvaco Play platform, encrypted SMS, or HTTPS. An IR interface enables direct communication with devices from the Elvaco CMe/CMeX series. DIN rail mounting, 100–240 V AC power supply, IP20 protection rating, dimensions 35 × 100 × 65 mm.

This mobile-network M-Bus metering gateway is designed for remote meter data collection and automated report generation. It facilitates the management and delivery of meter data to receiving systems via mobile networks.
The device is designed for 35 mm DIN rail mounting (DIN 50022). Its dimensions are 35 x 100 x 65 mm, and it features an IP20 protection class.
The gateway supports 2G, 3G, and LTE mobile networks. It features an automatic fallback mechanism to ensure connectivity remains stable across different network generations.
The device operates on a nominal voltage of 100-240 VAC (+/- 10%) at 50/60 Hz. It is highly energy-efficient, with a nominal power consumption of less than 1W and a maximum consumption of less than 6W.
The integrated M-Bus master supports a load of up to 16T. For installations requiring higher capacity, the system can be expanded to support a total load of up to 256T by utilizing external M-Bus masters.
Yes. While the integrated master supports a load of up to 16T, the system can be extended to support a total load of up to 256T through the use of external M-Bus masters.
The SIM card must be a push-push type with 2G, 3G, or LTE internet access. It must not have a PIN code enabled and must support receiving and sending normal SMS messages.
The gateway features an intelligent script engine that generates reports, such as Excel files, and delivers them via email (SMTP), FTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPS, or encrypted SMS.
