The CMe3100 is a fixed network M-Bus metering gateway that reads up to 512 meters, compiles the meter data into customized reports, and delivers them to a receiving system via the fixed telephone landline according to a specified schedule and integration protocol. It is compatible with all meters using the M-Bus standard protocol and Elvaco's CMe/CMeX series. The CMe3100 is easy to configure and update via its web interface and supports a variety of integration protocols including ModBus, DLMS, JSON and REST, making it a viable solution for many different types of meter projects. The continuous readout function can provide real-time meter data that can be used in an automatic control system, for example. The CMe3100 is equipped with a flexible licensing scheme that allows both cost-effective customization at the time of purchase and the possibility of later expansion of the product functionality without changing the hardware.
