The Honeywell IN-Z61 is a low-frequency pulse generator for digitally recording gas consumption on Honeywell/Elster diaphragm gas meters in the BK-G2.5 to BK-G100 series. The reed switch generates pulses proportional to the meter’s reading and enables easy integration with smart metering, LoRaWAN, or building automation systems. Installation does not require breaking the calibration seal and does not affect the meter’s calibration validity. Additionally, the IN-Z61 features a tamper contact to detect magnetic manipulation or cable breakage. Thanks to a standard plug connection and mounting clip, quick retrofitting is possible—ideal for IoT gateways, pulse loggers, and energy monitoring solutions.
