The Jooby Ephir RMS is a LoRaWAN retrofit module for the remote reading of Metrix gas meters (G1.6 to G16) without removing the meter. It records meter readings hourly, daily, monthly, or annually and transmits them to a server via LoRaWAN EU868 at a configurable interval (default: every 4 hours). A smart sensor detects tampering attempts, such as magnetic interference or unauthorized removal, and triggers an alarm. Battery life: 5–15 years; data storage capacity for 15 years; 256 event log entries. Available with an external antenna with a 0.5 m or 3 m cable. ABS housing, IP50, operating temperature −30 °C to +85 °C.
