The Lansitec LoRaWAN Valve Positioning Sensor is a compact sensor designed for precise monitoring of valve positions with 1° accuracy. It measures the direction of rotation and the total number of revolutions and transmits the data via LoRaWAN to a gateway, with AES128 encryption ensuring security. The sensor features dual 2800 mAh batteries (5600 mAh total), enabling an operating life of approximately four years, as well as FOTA firmware updates via Bluetooth. An integrated 3D accelerometer supports calibration and additional motion detection. The sensor is suitable for industrial, municipal, or agricultural applications, enabling remote monitoring, preventive maintenance, and reducing water loss or unauthorized tampering.
