The Milesight UC502 Multi Interface Controller (external antenna) is a LoRaWAN controller designed to collect data from industrial sensors and devices. After initial configuration via an NFC interface or a wired USB connection, the controller enables:
- the simultaneous connection of multiple sensors via analog inputs, serial interfaces, and various digital interfaces
- Local storage of history data to prevent data loss in the event of a wireless network connection failure
- Power supply for connected external sensors via built-in, replaceable rechargeable batteries or a DC input
The controller is a Class A device housed in an IP68-rated enclosure with M12 connectors, making it protected against water and dust. It supports standard communication protocols such as Modbus RTU and SDI-12 for integration into industrial hardware. Typical application scenarios include environmental monitoring and smart agriculture.

The device is equipped with multiple interfaces to support various industrial sensors, including GPIO, RS232, RS485, SDI-12, and two analog inputs that support 4-20mA or 0-10V signals.
Yes, the controller can power external sensors through two 3.3V outputs and two switchable outputs that can be configured for 5V, 9V, or 12V.
The device features a waterproof design with M12 connectors and meets IP67 or IP68 standards, providing robust protection against water and dust in industrial settings.
Configuration can be handled wirelessly via NFC using a mobile application or through a wired connection via the USB Type-C port using the provided software.
The controller supports local storage for up to 600 data records and features a data retransmission mechanism to ensure that any lost information is sent to the server once the connection is restored.
Under optimal line-of-sight conditions, the device can transmit data over distances of up to 15 kilometers.
