The WILSEN.sonic.level ultrasonic sensor transmits more than just fill levels. GPS data from the sensor allows the tracking of containers, while further information such as temperature values and battery charge status enable predictive maintenance.
With the WILSEN.sonic.level, there is no need for time-consuming setting of individual sensors via pushbuttons: parameterization and network logon are performed on the mobile device via an Android app using Bluetooth® LE. The WILSEN.sonic.level is not bound to a specific system - it can be integrated into any LoRaWAN® network. The use of vendor-independent software and rapid development and customization of IoT solutions are easily possible.
Its industrial suitability distinguishes the WILSEN.sonic.level from other IoT sensors: it has a robust housing designed in protection class IP66/67 and can also be used outdoors at temperatures of -25 ... +70 °C. This means that the distance sensor can also be used in difficult outdoor environments such as measuring water levels or as a level measurement in oil tanks.
