The WILSEN.sonic.level ultrasonic sensor transmits more than just fill levels. GPS data from the sensor allows containers to be tracked, while additional information such as temperature values and battery charge status enable predictive maintenance.

With WILSEN.sonic.level, there is no need for time-consuming adjustment of individual sensors via push buttons: parameterization and network registration are carried out on a mobile device via an Android app using Bluetooth LE. WILSEN.sonic.level is not tied to a specific system—it can be integrated into any LoRaWAN® network. The use of manufacturer-independent software and the rapid development and adaptation of IoT solutions are easily possible.

Its industrial suitability sets the WILSEN.sonic.level apart from other IoT sensors: it has a robust housing designed for protection class IP66/67 and can also be used outdoors at temperatures ranging from -25 to +70 °C. This means that the distance sensor can also be used in difficult outdoor environments, such as for measuring water levels or as a level sensor in oil tanks.
