The WisMesh Repeater is a ready-to-use solar-powered device designed to enlarge the range of a Meshtastic network, specifically for outdoor and off-grid LoRa mesh networking.
The repeater supports multiple power options, including Solar Battery Powered (via Solar Battery Lite) or DC Powered through an SP11 connector.
The device can be wall-mounted using screws or pole-mounted with the included clamp and bracket. It is critical to follow the 'UP' direction marked on the bracket during installation.
The device will not function until the region is set via the Meshtastic App. You can configure it using a mobile phone via a BLE connection (pairing pin 123456) or via a USB connection using a Web Client or Python CLI.
Yes, you must not connect a DC adapter if 18505 batteries are installed inside the device. Additionally, the enclosure must be kept closed at all times to maintain its waterproof rating.
The USB port and the physical reset button are located inside the device, situated within the unused battery cabinet behind the battery lid.
The device is largely pre-assembled, but the included LoRa antenna must be installed manually before use. To do this, remove the rubber cap and securely screw the LoRa antenna onto the device.
