The RAK7289 WisGate Edge Pro is a product for commercial IoT use. With its industrial-grade components, it achieves a high standard of reliability. It supports up to 16 LoRa channels, multi-backhaul with Ethernet, Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity. In addition to PoE (802.3af with surge protection), there is a dedicated port for various other power options such as solar panels and batteries. LTE, Wi-Fi and GPS antennas are built inside from the housing design. External LoRaWAN antennas are screwed directly onto the housing via N-type connector or attached with antenna cable and pipe mounting extended. The gateway provides a solid out-of-the-box experience for rapid deployment. Since the software and UI are built on OpenWRT, it is perfect for custom application development (via the open SDK). Thus, the RAK7289 is suitable for any application scenario and offers rapid deployment and customization of the user interface and functionality. Supplied without external antenna.
RAK Wireless also offers remote management with their IoT platform WisDM, which monitors up to 3 gateways free of charge in the community account.
