The SenseCAP Solar Node P1 is a cost-effective, solar-powered Meshtastic node designed for long-term outdoor use. The integrated 5-W solar panel powers the device off-grid, while the Semtech SX1262 LoRa transceiver enables ranges of 8–9 km in open terrain—ideal as a network node or repeater for expanding existing mesh networks. Sensors such as temperature, humidity, or light sensors can be connected via the Grove interface using plug-and-play. A GPS module and 18650 rechargeable batteries can be retrofitted by the user. Meshtastic firmware comes pre-installed, and wall or pole mounting is possible using the included mounting kit.
