The SensMax D3 TS is a bidirectional infrared people-counting sensor designed for real-time tracking of visitor traffic in public facilities, retail stores, and shopping malls. It uses a 3-beam infrared barrier and reliably detects both IN and OUT movements. The sensor stores up to 2,000 events and transmits data in real time via a gateway to the SensMax Cloud, including 5-minute intervals and API export options.
The wireless range varies depending on the model: The D3 LR TS version (868 MHz) offers a range of up to approximately 150 m and is suitable for medium-sized installations. The D3 SLR TS version (868 MHz) has a range of up to approximately 800 m and is designed for large buildings or widely distributed systems.
Note: SensMax devices communicate via a proprietary, manufacturer-specific protocol (868 MHz/2.4 GHz)—not LoRaWAN. Sensors, gateways, and displays can only be combined within the SensMax ecosystem, with matching range types (LR only with LR, etc.) and the SensMax Cloud for data analysis.
