The SensMax D3 is a bidirectional infrared people-counting sensor designed to accurately track visitor traffic in indoor settings such as retail stores, offices, museums, or public facilities. It uses an invisible 3-beam infrared barrier and reliably detects both entry and exit movements. The sensor stores up to 25 days of data and automatically transmits it via a gateway to the SensMax Cloud for real-time and historical analysis.
The wireless range varies depending on the model: The D3 Standard version (2.4 GHz) is suitable for short distances of up to approximately 50 m, the D3 LR version (868 MHz) for medium ranges of up to approximately 150 m, and the D3 SLR version (868 MHz) is designed for large installations with a range of up to approximately 800 m.
