Sensoterra soil moisture sensors measure the volumetric water content of the soil. They are all completely wireless and use the LoRaWAN network to monitor your data from your fields 24/7. After a quick and easy installation, you can easily access the data via the Sensoterra if there is a TTN network in the area.
The sensors are available in different versions (local or cloudy mode). The local mode is only available in 15 and 30 cm, but the local mode is available in 15, 30, 60 and 90 cm.

Die Kosten für die Kalibrierungsbibliothek sind bereits in der Variante „local mode“ auf unbestimmte Zeit enthalten. Die Kosten für den „Cloud-Betrieb“ betragen 30 € pro Jahr und sind ebenfalls für 8 Jahre enthalten, was der durchschnittlichen Lebensdauer eines Sensors entspricht. Ab Beginn des 9. Jahres fällt eine jährliche Gebühr von 30 € für die Nutzung der Kalibrierungsbibliothek an. Die Abrechnung erfolgt dann direkt über Sensoterra.
Using the sensors with the Sensoterra app is currently only possible with the TTN. If the sensors are used with their own LNS, the payload must be decrypted via the Sensoterra API interface. We cannot provide a payload description for these sensors.
