The SensMax SensGuard MCP9808 wirelessly monitors temperatures ranging from −20 °C to +55 °C with an accuracy of ±0.5 °C. Every 5 minutes, the compact sensor (55 × 25 × 12 mm) transmits its readings via 868 MHz radio with AES128 encryption to the SensGuard TCP LRX2 gateway—with a range of up to 150 m. Thanks to its IP65 rating, it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use in damp and dusty environments. The built-in Li-ion battery (400 mAh) ensures up to 5 years of maintenance-free operation, and installation using double-sided tape takes just minutes.

Note: SensMax devices communicate via a proprietary, manufacturer-specific protocol (868 MHz/2.4 GHz)—not LoRaWAN. Sensors, gateways, and displays can only be combined within the SensMax ecosystem, with matching range types (LR only with LR, etc.) and the SensMax Cloud for data analysis.
