The Teneo LoRaWAN Soil Moisture Sensor is an advanced solution for precise soil moisture measurement in agriculture, horticulture, and environmental monitoring. Equipped with measuring probes or measuring pins, the sensor records volumetric soil moisture and transmits the data wirelessly via LoRaWAN. Thanks to over-the-air activation (OTAA) and AES128 encryption, it can be securely integrated into any LoRaWAN network. The sensor is weatherproof (IP67), operates at -20 to 55°C, and offers a battery life of up to five years with a rechargeable LiFePO₄ battery and wireless Qi charging. With adjustable measurement intervals, maximum moisture, and bandwidth, the sensor supports sustainable irrigation and efficient soil management.
