The thermokon JOY Fancoil EC AO2DO room thermostat is designed to control fan coil units with EC fans. It is operated via its touch-sensitive interface and 2.5-inch LCD screen.

The device is flush-mounted in a standard EU outlet (Ø 60 mm). It operates on 85–260 V AC, has an IP30 protection rating in accordance with EN 60529, and supports LoRaWAN 1.0.3 Class C with OTAA and ADR. Configuration is possible via uConfig, a microSD card, or downlink. It is suitable for room control in offices, hotels, and similar buildings and ensures stable operation. The THK-850898 and THK-850897 models are available in black or white, while the THK-850899 and THK-850909 models include additional sensors.

The device is designed for 2-pipe and 4-pipe systems, providing control for both heating and cooling valves as well as EC fan units.
The thermostat measures temperature (0 to +50 °C) and relative humidity (0 to 100%). Certain models also include a CO2 sensor with a measuring range of 0 to 2,000 ppm.
The device is available in black or white and offers two main sensor configurations: a standard version that measures temperature and humidity, and an optional model that includes an additional CO2 sensor.
The unit features a 2.5-inch backlit LCD screen with a resolution of 240x160 pixels, allowing users to adjust setpoints and control fan stages.
It provides one 0-10 V output for EC fan control and two normally open switch contacts for heating and cooling, supporting loads up to 500 mA at 240 V.
The device is flush-mounted using a standard 60 mm diameter EU box and requires a power supply of 85 to 260 V AC.
Configuration is handled via the uConfig Windows software. The settings can be transferred to the device using an SD card or remotely via LoRaWAN downlink.
