The ALT’O LoRaWAN water level sensor is a reliable solution for the precise monitoring of water levels in lakes, rivers, coastal areas, or retention basins. Thanks to modern 61 GHz FMCW radar technology, the sensor measures water levels from 0.3 m to 8 m with an accuracy of up to ±10 mm. Data is transmitted energy-efficiently via LoRaWAN (Class A), either immediately or in batches using data compression, enabling a battery life of up to 5 years. The rugged, unobtrusive housing (IP68) is resistant to UV radiation, extreme temperatures, and environmental influences such as saltwater or contamination. Without an external antenna or solar panel, the sensor integrates discreetly into any environment. Flexible alarm functions for threshold violations and simple installation make the ALT’O ideal for applications such as flood warning, water level measurement, and environmental monitoring.

The sensor is designed for aquatic environment management, coastal monitoring, and flood detection, and is effective for measuring the height of both clear and brackish water.
The sensor utilizes 61 GHz FMCW radar technology to measure water levels within a range of 0.3 meters to 8 meters with a 1 mm resolution.
The device provides a precision of +/- 10 mm in calm water and +/- 20 mm in rough water conditions.
Yes, the device supports configurable distance alarms from 0.5m to 8m and tilt alarms from 4 to 45 degrees for monitoring orientation changes.
The sensor uses a replaceable 3.6V / 17Ah lithium battery, providing an autonomy of approximately 5 years with standard settings of one measurement every 30 minutes and one transmission per hour.
The device is IP68 rated for submersion and is built to resist UV rays, extreme temperatures ranging from -15°C to +55°C, wind, and animal waste.
The device features a user interface consisting of a magnetic switch and a buzzer to indicate status and network association.
