The WIKA radio unit NETRIS1 enables the wireless transmission of measurement data. It uses LoRaWAN and Bluetooth and can be used at mobile installations or remote measuring points. With intelligent control and a replaceable battery, it ensures a long operating time. The unit receives data from sensors with 0-10 V, 4-20 mA or RTD according to Pt100/Pt1000 standard. It is fully encapsulated and continuously transmits data to the cloud via configurable packets via LoRaWAN or Bluetooth. LoRaWAN technology enables long ranges and long battery life. A robust version made of stainless steel is available for harsh environments. Configuration is simple via the cloud, LoRaWAN or Bluetooth. Compatibility with various WIKA measuring instruments and both wireless standards enables flexible configurations. Configuration is possible both remotely via the cloud and on site via Bluetooth and the "myWIKA wireless device" app. The NETRIS1 is part of the WIKA IIoT solution and offers a comprehensive digitalization strategy.

Detect leaks in manholes in good time
The solution is based on the combination of a WIKA level switch with integrated temperature measurement and the external LoRaWAN® and mioty radio unit NETRIS1. The level switch detects defined switching points for level detection and simultaneously measures the medium temperature when liquid is detected. In the event of water ingress in the shaft, this enables the system to detect whether it is cold rainwater or hot water from the district heating system. The prompt data transmission and differentiated status evaluation then enable the correct measures to be initiated.
