WIKA’s IIoT-enabled PGW23.100 pressure gauge is ideal for applications where on-site process pressure display is required alongside centralized, web-based remote monitoring. It is based on a robust, fully welded Bourdon tube measuring system that combines the mechanical measuring system with electronic signal processing. The battery-powered wireless transmission via LoRaWAN utilizes LPWAN technology to ensure long transmission ranges and extended battery life.
The PGW23.100 pressure gauge meets the safety requirements of relevant standards and regulations for the on-site display of the operating pressure of pressure vessels, as well as the requirements of the Radio Equipment Directive for data communication. It is particularly noteworthy that the LoRaWAN network enables full end-to-end encryption with bidirectional communication, which is crucial for secure IIoT applications.
