Schimberg and Berlin, August 30, 2023 – Alpha-Omega Technology GmbH & Co. KG is an expert in IoT infrastructures. As the operator of the largest online shop for IoT applications in the German-speaking world, iot-shop.de, the company has been connecting the LoRaWAN scene for years. This year, the iot-shop is the official shop of The Things Conference (TTC) for the first time. The flagship event for LoRaWAN and the Low Power Internet of Things offers product news, workshops, application examples and much more. TTC will take place in Amsterdam from September 21-22, 2023. The iot-shop.de of the Thuringian IoT company Alpha-Omega Technology offers sensors, gateways and other equipment for setting up professional LoRaWAN and other LPWAN networks. The company has been successfully cooperating with the conference organizer The Things Industries (TTI) for three years. Its core product is a network server solution that collects and decrypts LoRaWAN data and passes it on to other interfaces.

Jan Bose explains: “We have been integrating TTI's system into our customer projects for years and are continuously intensifying our collaboration. The aim of the cooperation is to reduce technical hurdles when entering into IoT applications and to promote the community idea among users. Furthermore, our iot-shop.de offers the largest range in Germany, and we are also one of the leading online shops for LoRaWAN infrastructures in Europe. Against this background, a close cooperation at The Things Conference was an obvious choice.” (Press release on the cooperation)

Wienke Giezeman, CEO of The Things Industries, says: “iot-shop provides the expertise and the system to make our customers‘ and partners’ IoT projects in Germany a success. Cooperation partners like iot-shop enable the entire ecosystem to run smoothly and efficiently.”

Interactive Quiz “The Things Conference Journey”

At the TTC shop stand, conference participants can expect an extensive range of LoRaWAN products and an interactive quiz. On “The Things Conference Journey”, the quiz candidates embark on a very analog journey through the conference. With the quiz, the iot-shop operators want to motivate visitors to get in touch with exhibitors and exchange ideas on current LoRaWAN trends and topics. Participants who answer all questions correctly will be entered into a raffle and have the chance to win a LoRaWAN product.

Discounted hardware package when you buy your ticket

Those who don't want to rely on luck or don't have the time and patience for quizzes and journeys can purchase an attractive hardware package from the conference partner iot-shop. The Things Conference offers a discounted hardware kit for €400 when you purchase a ticket as an “add-on product”. It includes a gateway, a development device and sensors. The products come from renowned manufacturers Kerlink, Browan, Seeed Studios, RAK, MClimate and Milesight. They will be available for collection at the conference shop during the conference days.
