The EMU TQ30 split-core current transformer is a compact solution for precise current measurements in digital energy metering systems. Thanks to its split-core design, the transformer can be easily installed around existing conductors with diameters of up to 18 mm without interrupting the circuit. A clearly audible “click” mechanism ensures a secure lock, and two included cable ties further secure the installation. The TQ30 is equipped with a 3-meter color-coded connection cable and offers a low load of 0.2 VA maximum, ideal for precise measurements. It supports primary currents from 60 to 250 A at a secondary current of 1 A and complies with the IEC 61869-2 standard. With IP20 protection, CAT IV 300 V, and an operating range from -5 °C to +40 °C, it is ideally suited for indoor installations in energy monitoring and smart metering applications.
