The Innotas IP 68 LoRa Pulse Module with Two Inputs is a battery-powered pulse counter designed to capture and transmit pulse signals from two sources via LoRaWAN. The module is mounted and snapped into place using the included mounting plate; the pulse inputs are connected via cable to an external source before the wireless connection is activated. The module is designed for pulse detection, flow measurement of water meter pairs, and the remote reading of various consumption data.
The device features two pulse inputs. It requires a minimum pulse ON/OFF time of greater than 10ms and supports a maximum impulse frequency of 50 Hz.
The device is powered by a 3V DC Lithium battery which provides an operating life of approximately 6 to 12 years.
The module sends up to 12 telegrams per day, depending on the specific settings and the spreading factor used.
The module is delivered in a storage mode with the radio inactive. It can be activated using a magnet, an activation head, or an optical interface.
The device features a special housing with potted electronics, providing an IP 67 protection rating. It is suitable for operating temperatures between -10 and 60 degrees Celsius.
The connection leads are color-coded: the brown wire is for ground (mass) and the white wire is for the module input.
Configuration is performed via an IrDa optical head using LST software. Reference dates for data logging can be set on a monthly or yearly basis.
