The SIGN X565LS room sensor from Nexelec is a professional LoRaWAN sensor for optimum indoor climate monitoring in closed rooms. It accurately measures temperature, humidity and pollutants. The sensor offers comprehensive environmental monitoring, including TVOC detection, motion detection, noise measurement and brightness measurement. Data is stored on an integrated micro SD card for up to 10 years. CO2 levels are displayed via a color LED display, and thresholds can be adjusted via NFC or LoRaWAN. The sensor is easy to install, with a battery life of over 3 years, and can be configured wirelessly via the Nexelec TOUCH app.

How a PIR motion detector works:
The PIR motion detectors (passive infrared sensors) are named after pyroelectricity, whereby a change in temperature leads to a measurable change in electrical voltage. Every living organism emits infrared radiation. A change in the heat source registers that something is moving and, depending on the design, in which direction it is moving. PIR motion detectors are therefore often used as light motion detectors, whereby the light is activated when a PIR motion detector registers movement.
