The Polysense WxS8800-PSS-333051 is an intelligent LoRaWAN PIR sensor and RTU 2-in-1 terminal from Polysense Technologies. This device combines the functions of a motion sensor and a remote control unit (RTU) and is able to detect movements within a range of 3-4 meters. It can be expanded with up to two gas sensors from the PSS series and supports the simultaneous control of up to eight sensors or controllers. Configuration is carried out via the PolySuite software or via OTA (Over-the-Air) via IoT platforms. The WxS8800 is robustly built into an IP67 housing and is suitable for demanding environments. The device can be powered by either a DC power source or a long-life battery and supports common LoRaWAN frequencies such as EU868 and US915. The sensor is mainly used in applications such as building automation, security monitoring and industrial sensor technology.
