Meshlium is a gateway that collects sensor data from Waspmotes and Plug&Sense! devices and forwards it to the cloud. The hardware is weatherproof and designed for tough outdoor use, the software is based on Linux and offers maximum modularity and flexibility. Configuration is carried out via a clear web interface. The gateway uses the 802.15.4 protocol to communicate with the sensors. The data is transferred to the cloud via Ethernet or 3G. The integrated GPS receiver is not only used to determine the position, but also ensures that highly precise times can be determined.
