SenseCAP Wireless Light Intensity Sensor

The SenseCAP wireless light intensity sensor measures light intensity in lux from 0 - 188000 lux and is designed for outdoor use.

This battery-powered device features a built-in LoRa transmitter based on the SX1276 for long-range transmission, a digital light sensor and a dedicated battery. It has been specifically designed and optimized for use cases where end devices will run on batteries for years. To minimize power consumption, the device wakes up, transmits the collected light data to the gateway and then goes back to sleep.

The battery lasts 8 years in the best case, depending on the data transmission intervals. Please note that the default interval is once per hour.

To be able to be used in adverse conditions, it is designed according to industry standards and equipped with an IP66 waterproof housing. It supports an extended operating temperature range, making it suitable for industrial applications in harsh indoor and outdoor environments.

The SenseCAP sensor node is modular and integrates the data logger with the sensor probe, which is interchangeable with other SenseCAP sensor probes.
