The Dragino MDS120 is an advanced LoRaWAN microwave radar sensor capable of measuring the distance between the sensor and various objects. Unlike traditional ultrasonic or lidar measurements, the MDS120 uses microwave radar to provide accurate measurements even in dusty or humid environments.
Thanks to LoRa wireless technology, the MDS120 can transmit data over extremely long ranges. The sensor is ideal for applications such as horizontal distance measurement, parking space management, intelligent waste bin management, robot obstacle avoidance, automatic control and drainage.
The MDS120 is powered by a powerful 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery that enables long-term use of up to 5 years. Each device is pre-installed with unique keys for LoRaWAN applications to ensure quick and easy integration.
