The AM319 Class C indoor climate sensor from Milesight is a compact sensor for measuring temperature, humidity, light, CO2 concentration, TVOC, barometric air pressure, particulate matter with PM2.5 & PM10, O3 and CH2O. The values are displayed in real time on the e-ink screen and are transmitted using LoRaWAN. The room climate sensor is perfectly used in offices, stores, classrooms or medical practices.

Overview - Air quality measurement

Some of the sensors for measuring carbon dioxide differ in the way they work. While some measure CO₂ directly, other sensors measure the so-called eCO₂. With eCO₂, it is not carbon dioxide as such that is measured but the volatile organic compounds in the air (VOC). The CO₂ content is calculated from these. In many applications, eCO₂ is perfectly adequate, but for some cases it must be exact. VOCs are often found in varnishes, paints and adhesives during the processing of materials. The resulting vapours usually cause headaches and irritate the mucous membranes.
